Simple™Form, VertiPocket™Green, and GroWall™ GRS are all patent pending products and systems developed by SJ Hardscape Enterprises LLC. The Company was founded in 2005 as a partnership between two retaining wall industry professionals Jon Calle and Sean O’Donnell to resolve code compliant fence and rail integration issues with segmental retaining wall systems. Jon as the inventor and managing partner with Sean providing business guidance, seed funding, as well as utilizing the products during development by his own landscape construction company. With 3 utility patents and over 50 stocking North American distributors in just the first 18 months of operation the Sleeve-It™ Product was sold to Strata Systems, a division of Glen Raven, Inc in 2007. After a 3 year integration contract with Strata Jon rejoined Sean as VP of Construction for Pickering Valley Landscape, Inc., a leading retaining wall and landscape firm in the Mid Atlantic Region. Together with their combined “field experience” and daily use of their own ideas they are excited to bring to the design and construction community these new concepts in solving safety, manufacturing, transportation, environmental, and cost issues in vertical earth installation.
